Training

In 18 weeks, I will walk 60 miles over 3 days. It sounds tougher than it really is. That's not to say I don't take training seriously, though. I try to keep up with the required mileage every week. So far, I have been on target. Today I accomplished something I really never expected to when I first started tracking my miles. In 2006, I walked 200 miles. Not too shabby. Today I hit my first goal of "walking" to Key West. 1098.15 miles. Go me!!!!

What do you do when you achieve a goal such as this? You give your feet a nice massage with lotion, and start walking north. My goal is to "walk" to Calais ME by the time I complete the 3 Day. Piece of cake. It's only 575 miles away.
