Two and a half minute lights

I have always hated two and a half minute lights until today. Trinks, my beloved 6 year old daughter, forgot to get dressed for ballet after school. Usually when this happens, she changes in the van when we reach ballet. Today I was LATE picking her up and decided to have her change while the car was moving. She learned if you pull your pants down before buckling, you can pull on tights before you hit the main intersection. We hit the light and I instructed her to unbuckle and pull on the leotard. I am happy to say, after a 30 second agrument, she agreed to unbuckle. I then had to explain the traffic pattern of the intersection so she understood why it was ok to unbuckle in this situation.

Spring

I love spring. Today I was sitting in a meeting, trying desperately to concentrate on what was going on, but I was completely distracted by what was going on outside. It was raining, but the trees were such a vibrant green they seemed to glow in rain. Then the border collie arrived and started to run around the pond to chase away the geese. I completely lost it when the dog jumped in the pond and started swimming after the geese.
In order to celebrate spring, we went to Longwood Gardens a couple of weeks ago. I took this picture (along with 131 others - digital cameras ROCK!) to try to capture the beauty of the flower beds. I couldn't do the gardens justice, but we had a great time. The kids ran themselves ragged, which is always a sign of a good trip. If the weather cooperates, we will return this weekend to play in the treehouses that opened last weekend. http://www.longwoodgardens.org/NaturesCastles.html

I really have nothing to say

But Nothing Knew told me this was easy and almost challenged me to start a blog, so I decided to try it. As soon as he tells me how, I will link his blog to this.

Why Posey? I'm sure my mother will ask that once she figures out how to read this. Because that's the name I was given on another blog. Yes, it's as simple as that.

Do I have anything interesting or valid to present to the world? Of course not. Most people don't, but they blog anyway. This is my new hobby and I'll see where it takes me.
