This is a public service announcement. Remove the grill on your fridge and vacuum all the nasty dust that accumulates in the coils. Then pull the whole thing out and vacuum. Gross!! The sad thing is I did this a year ago and it was still incredibly nasty today. Hopefully it will help the darn thing run efficiently and not use so much electricity. We haven't had problems, but I hope I get a reward for my efforts!
Considering the first time I cleaned under the fridge we had owned it for 9 years, I thought it couldn't get that nasty in 1 year. Now I know. And knowing is half the battle.
Why was I cleaning under the fridge instead of packing anyway? PROCRASTINATION!!

We are a family of four, living in DE. I (Posey) and Hortense (hubby) have lived in DE for 13.5 years and still haven't hit all of the true Delaware experiences. The children are now 7 and 4 and we want to show them their home state. Now is the time. This is our year.

Let me remind you...you have a few cats in the house.
Perhaps once a year isn't enough? Our grill under the fridge was pretty clean (in a relative way) the last time I checked (about 2 months ago).
No pets, no shedding, less hair floating around. Of course, less companionship from the lack of pets as well, but I guess that is what kids are for.
