And have no idea how the driver in the Mitsubishi is still alive. There was nothing left of the car. I looked up as the car was in midair, disintegrating, and watched in horror as it smashed into the pavement. I had to pull over because I couldn't breathe. Hubby missed it because he couldn't understand my frantic pointing because I couldn't speak.

It's unclear what "this" is. I see that it is a link in the title but that wasn't clear until I rolled over the entire post.
Perhaps putting the same link in the body of the post would make it clearer.
BTW, I am glad you aren't the southbound mini-van.
