forever and ever, Amen. My grandmother died tonight. She waited until she had seen everybody, then she drifted off peacefully. She died at home, surrounded by family. Trinks and I are in NJ until we figure out the order of events. When my mind isn't so cluttered, I'll try to be more poetic. In the meantime, I'll continue to sing Randy Travis in memory of Grandmom.

Sorry to hear your grandma passed away. I know she's not been doing well. It's good to hear that she got to see everyone.
How's Trinks? It must have been rough for her to have her great grandma pass away the night of her b-day.
I'll be thinking of you all. I hope we'll get to see you on Sunday, but understand if things change.
The good thing was she officially died today. We had to call the VNA to get someone to pronounce her dead, the cops had to come (it's a Monmouth County thing and the poor guy looked so uncomfortable), and the funeral home had to come. By the time the nurse got there and started filling out paperwork, it was after midnight.
Trinks did really well. She said good bye and then went in the living room and passed out in a chair. I sent her home around 1:30 with my dad while my mom and I went to the ER to tell my sister. She had to work 8-8 last night.
Thanks for thinking of us. Right now it looks like the viewing will be Friday and the funeral will be Saturday.

We are a family of four, living in DE. I (Posey) and Hortense (hubby) have lived in DE for 13.5 years and still haven't hit all of the true Delaware experiences. The children are now 7 and 4 and we want to show them their home state. Now is the time. This is our year.
